For many work-from-home professionals, the laptop is now as much a part of the workday as the desk and chair. Hours spent attending meetings, responding to emails, working on documents and switching between multiple screens have become routine. What often gets overlooked, however, is the amount of effort our eyes put in throughout this process.
Prolonged screen use can lead to a broad range of symptoms collectively referred to as Computer Vision Syndrome (CVS). Eye strain, headaches, eye pain, dryness and temporary blurring of vision are some of the common complaints associated with extended periods of screen use.
